Alcohol and other drugs
Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP)
IOP is an intensive treatment for adults diagnosed with a moderate to severe Substance Use Disorder. This is an 18 session program attended three (3) days a week for three (3) hours each day. Intensive Outpatient Services are designed to support and guide our clients to independently choose and achieve a clean lifestyle, free of alcohol and/or chemical substances.
Non-Intensive Outpatient (NIOP)
NIOP is a non-intensive outpatient program for those consumers who do not meet diagnostic criteria for intensive outpatient. NIOP also serves as a step-down program for those clients who have successfully competed IOP. NIOP provides guidance and support for those at risk in their environment through group, individual, and family counseling. The NIOP program provides a base and reassurance for making the right choice.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is used in conjunction with New Concept’s IOP and NIOP Treatment programs to facilitate recovery for those individuals physiologically addicted to opiates. Utilizing this treatment regimen allows clients to engage in recovery and treatment efforts without having to endure the extensive withdrawal occurring from long-term opioid use. Clients enrolled in the MAT program are required to also engage in treatment, generally starting at the IOP level. Additionally, clients need to be under the doctor’s care for the duration of their time on Suboxone and/or Vivatrol, with weekly mandates for their ongoing care.
Adolescent and Young Adult
Services are designed to meet the specific needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Assessments and Referrals
We conduct assessments that are accepted by numerous courts throughout Northwest Ohio. We employ clinical instruments as well as an in-depth clinical interview to identify and clarify problem areas. Also, we are knowledgeable of other high-quality community resources and make referrals when appropriate, such as the need for in-patient services.
